Rules of Membership12th An invitation to join the 100 Club: The 12th Didcot Sea Scouts 100 Club is open to all parents and friends of 12th Didcot Sea Scouts. Prize Fund: Each member buys a £1 subscription per month. You may buy more than one subscription per month. Payment is to be made in advance on an annual basis. Cheques should be made payable to 12th Didcot Sea Scouts. A member is eligible for inclusion in the draw for any month so long as the subscription for that month has been paid. Each member is allocated a permanent number in the monthly draw. This number shall remain the member’s provided their subscription is up to date. If the number drawn is not subscribed to, or has not been paid for in advance, the prize fund will accumulate. Members may have and are encouraged to have multiple subscriptions. The subscription year will run from September 2008 till August 2009. You will then have the choice of keeping your number for another year or redeeming it. The 100 Club shall not be limited to 100 members. Prizes: Monthly prizes will be awarded according to membership of the 100 Club for that month as follows: 1st prize 35% of the prize fund 2nd prize 15% of the prize fund The remaining 50% of the net payments will be allocated to the 12th Didcot Sea Scouts fundraising account. So for example: if we have 100 members for the fund, for that month the prize fund will be £100. The prizes will then be; 1st prize £35 and second prize will be £15. Draws: A prize draw will take place at a section meeting in the first week of each month. The winners will be notified by phone and draw results will be posted on our website. The 100 Club administrators will make all reasonable efforts to pay or post prizes to the winners within two weeks of the draw. The decision of Rob Vaines as Promoter shall be final in all matters requiring adjudication. Rob Vaines shall also have the power to amend or revoke these rules at his absolute discretion with such reasonable notice to the 100 club members as is necessary.
